Situated in a quiet village in the hill above the popular resort of Menaggio. Our apartment is furnished to a high standard throughout, in a former grand hotel, sleeps 4 and has spectacular panoramic views of Lake Como from the grounds and private balcony. Beautiful living room with high ceilings and bay windows. Contains double sofa bed, TV, DVD & VCR player. A well equipped kitchen area has all mod-cons including dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine.Dining table for 4 persons. Shower-room with basin,toilet and bidet.One bedroom also accessing the balcony with queen size bed.Ideal for leisurely exploring the lake district of italy.

Location & area

Ideally positioned to enjoy all Lake Como can offer. Close to Menaggio a beautiful resort with large central piazza overlooking the lake, with cafés, restaurants, shops and tourist information office. There are lakeside walks, gardens and a beach, with excellent bus and ferry connection to all parts of the lake – including; Bellagio, known as the jewel of the lake with wonderful panoramic views; and also Villa Carlotta with gorgeous gardens on the banks of the lake; Como town is well worth a visit with historic buildings, Italian squares and great shopping! Como also provides a direct train link to Milan; capital of fashion. 3 miles to the west of the apartment is the small, pretty lake Piano with nature reserve and lovely sunsets. A further 3 miles will bring you to another of Italy's beautiful lakes, Lugano, with the Swiss boarder on it's shores. For the golfing enthusiast, there is a course close to the apartment.
