Overview
La Mossa is a fascinating small house at 1000 meters above sea level, on top of a smooth hill of Tuscany's Apennine, suspended on a breath-taking panorama over the Apuan Alps and the green valley of Garfagnana. The house is at walking distance from the little village of Chiozza, on the edge of a chestnut-tree wood, surrounded by wide meadows; it is an ideal place for families with children, who can stroll around in freedom and safety.
La Mossa consists of two rooms at the first floor (kitchen and living room) and two bedrooms at the second floor, with an ample bathroom at the mezzanine. It is been just thoroughly renovated by the owners, paying attention to preserve the atmosphere of a rural house of the Tuscany-Emilia Apennine: the stone, the chestnut wood, the fireplace, the oven in the court just outside the kitchen. The house is surrounded by large meadows, integral part of the property, that reach the very top of the hill: from every point in the house or in the meadows you can enjoy an obstacle-free overlooking of the mountains and the valley.
La Mossa hosts from 4 up to 8 people: the two bedrooms are equipped with double beds, and an extra single bed can be added; the living room is equipped with a sleeping sofa.Weekly rentals.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
