Overview

This wonderful self catering cottage is situated in the country and yet within walking distance of the sandy beaches (5 minutes walk).The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms ( 1 double 1 twin) with an extra single camp bed available, 1 full bathroom with shower and a service bathroom , the living/ dining area is tastefully decorated with Mediterranean colours with warm terracotta flooring with colourful ceramic inlays, sofa, Sat TV, fireplace, a large table and chairs and terrace doors that open onto an outdoor terrace also equipped with outdoor table chairs and loungers. There is a separate full equipped kitchen. The terrace which is covered on one side and open on the other is ideal for sunbathing and relaxing. The cottage is private and has a small front garden and extensive lemon grove with the typical fragrant lemons of the Cilento. Parking is available at the rear of the cottage.
The cottage is well located being set back slightly from the coast with a backdrop of the Trezene hills in the country in the area known as zona Lago of Santa Maria di Castellabate .It is an ideal base from which to take excurions to the better known tourist locations along the Amalfi coast.

Santa Maria di Castellabate is situated on the Cilento coast in the beautiful and unspoilt Cilento National Park area in Campania . Santa Maria di Castellabate itself offers a wide selections of restaurants bars shops and the area is ideal for sporting and beach activities.
It is situated 50 Km south of Salerno and 120 Km south of Naples
Excursion possibilities include day outing to the historic sites of Paestum , Velia and Pompei, the Amalfi coast and the island of Capri,the Charterhouse of Certosa, caves of Castelcivita as well as the local Cilento area and villages can be explored.
