Casa del Cipresso is situated in the shadow of the ancient Calitri Castle (now host to a Ceramics Museum) and is part of the "Antico Borgo" or old village. It is located on a quiet, medieval, pedestrian only street. There is free parking, grocery store, fruit and vegetable shop, bakery, tabacchi, ceramics shop of a local artisan, and a convenient Thursday street market...all less than a block away. Also in the old "Borgo", you can find a traditional Enoteca (serving local wine and cheese) a terrace bar where you can sit with a drink and take in the spectacular views of the countryside, an up-scale restaurant located in a local Palazzo(Palace), and a tourist office.
It is a pleasant(10 minute)walk through the Medieval Borgo to the "new" part of Calitri; there you will find shops, restaurants, pizzarias, coffee bars, bars, banks, post office, bus stop, swimming pool, and all the other town amenities you would expect to find in a town of about 6000 residents.
Dine on out-of-this-world, local, cuisine and sip a glass of highly acclaimed wine. Sit at your favorite coffee bar and sip an espresso. We will happily provide guest with recommendations for our personal, favorite spots to eat and drink!

We have made arrangements with a local pool to provide guests with access to beautiful, outdoor swimming during the summer months. Pool passes can be purchased daily or weekly; please enquire.

Recently renovated, this cozy, Hill Town home still retains all it's charm and local characteristics. Great Room (Sitting Area, Dining Table, Kitchen), Master Bedroom(Queen Bed)w/En Suite Bathroom (Shower, Sink, Toilet), Loft Bedroom(2 Single Beds). Please note that the loft bedroom is open to the living area.

Rome (3hours 30minutes)
There is bus service from the Naples Airport. Airport pick-up with a car service is available from all airports. Please email if you will be arriving from a different location or for detailed driving directions.
Please note that a car is not required for exploring the town of Calitri, but is recommended for exploring the surrounding area and sights. Daily Car rental available in Calitri.
