Overview

For a romantic break in a beautiful town, Bagnone is the place to be. Take time out from lounging by the sunny banks of the river to discover the areas many hidden treasures. Afterwards, stop in the town to have a bite to eat in one of the many cafes and restaurants while soaking up views of the Tuscan hillside. Both Pisa and Florence, with their famous tourist attractions are a short drive, as are the stunning seaside resorts of Le Cinque Terre and Lerici (we recommend going underneath the castle to find the breathtaking hidden beach there). Closer by, bathe in the natural hot springs of Equi Terme, or an outdoor Olympic size swimming pool in Villafranca. Visit spectacular castles in Fosdinovo; go shopping in Sarzana's famous outdoor antiques market; and for evening entertainment choose from Bagnone's theatre, outdoor cinema or many bars. A wealth of local sagras are to be found during the summer months, such as Bagnone's cake festival and the spectacular medieval festival in Filetto.

This is a recently renovated, semi-detached (just 2 other apartments in the building) groundfloor 1 bedroom apartment, just opened to the public. Situated 5 to 10 minutes walk from the river's beautiful waterfalls, with its invitingly clear waters. The apartment is just 20 to 25 minutes (walking) from the centre of Bagnone, where you can find amazingly good value bars, restaurants, and shops.
