Looking for your ideal, relaxing holiday, a chance to get away & recharge your batteries? Well, at The Hideaway near Amandola, we provide all you need for your perfect self-catering break. Our lovingly restored farmhouse is set in a peaceful valley surrounded by nature, with views of Montefalcone & the Le Marche countryside. The apartment has been restored using traditional materials - cotto flooring & wooden beams accompany modern day necessities - the fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms with luxury bedding, cosy living room , bathroom with shower and a covered loggia - ideal for dining al fresco. We even provide extra touches like fluffy bath robes & toiletries. Set in 2.5 acres, there are both shady & sunny areas of the garden for you to enjoy, for BBQing, relaxing on the hammocks, or playing games. There are bikes for you to explore our rural lanes and a selection of books & games available. Look out for the eagles circling by day & the stars at night. There really is something for everyone at The Hideaway.

Location & area

The Hideaway nestles in a picturesque & peaceful valley between Amandola & Comunanza. With the stunning Sibillini National Park to explore, flora & fauna aplenty, we are ideally located for winter skiing & year round hiking. There are walks direct from the house along our quiet lanes-watch out for the golden eagles from Montefalcone!

Our nearby town of Amandola has a delightful piazza, where you can sit outside over a coffee & watch the local life go by. Visit the markets, shops & restaurants - the traditional cuisine is delicious & wine inexpensive. Look out for the many year round local festivals, from the Medieval Palio to sampling truffles & other delicacies to suit all tastes. There are day trips to discover the fascinating towns of Sarnano, Servigliano, Offida, Norcia, Assisi & Loreto (to name but a few) plus the varied beaches of the Adriatic, all just a short drive away. Museums & churches, art & history, nature & astronomy are all waiting for you to explore within easy reach.

Your well appointed self-catering apartment is situated upstairs in our 17th century farmhouse which combines modern conveniences with rustic charm. With it's own private entrance via the covered loggia & an area for al fresco dining, you enter the cosy living room with comfy armchairs & double sofa bed, satellite TV, DVD, CD player, games cabinet & books for your entertainment. The separate fully-equipped kitchen has oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave & dining for four.

Your romantic master bedroom with comfortable double bed has dual aspect views over Montefalcone & the surrounding hills. The second bedroom has a single bed with a sofa bed for another guest if required. The bathroom has a shower, all the usual facilities & complimentary toiletries & bath robes. Central heating & double glazing provide modern comforts throughout.

Outside there is a terrace for sitting in the sunshine & our large garden has different areas for relaxing. The new pool area provides a welcome relief on those hot summer days!

We live in the little house next door & can be reached whenever required. If rented together with our Bed & Breakfast rooms, we can sleep up to a total of 10 guests (please enquire for the price).
