Our house is placed on the triangle among Florence, Siena and Arezzo, we are in Chianti. The location is really excellent since is central and close to all the major Tuscan cities.

Ground Floor:entrance directly into the Kitchen/dining room, sitting room with double sofa bed and large glass windows looking onto the garden,bathroom with shower.

First Floor: access from wooden staircase, matrimonial bedroom, twin bedroom.The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, top stove, microwave, refrigerator) ,mini food processor,bread toaster, kettle, plenty of all you need to cook and eat delicious meals.Private BBQ.

Our attractive self catering holiday home has been created by the lovingly and painstaking renovation of a large XVII century estate , near the ancient Sanctuary of Santa Maria in Valle, the origins of which date back to the late Middle Ages. The farmhouse, divided into one cottage and four apartments, is set on a panoramic position on the gentle slopes that descend towards the Arno river.

A large garden equipped with tables, chairs, canopies, with (7 x 12 metres) swimming pool surrounds the compound. The apartment has been tastefully finished, fully furnished and has been endowed with TV sat, and its own heating system. Laundry room available for common use. BBQ.
The quiet hilly panoramic area is only three kilometers from the beautiful medieval Village of Laterina, the lodging enjoys countryside privacy ,close proximity to the attractions and amenities of Arezzo, and it is the ideal base for many excursion in all Central Italy. There are good motorways and rail links with the rest of Tuscany and taking the train you can be in the heart of Florence in a short time. Being in the centre of Tuscany you will be able to reach easily, Siena, Cortona,Lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Assisi. The shopping lovers will find nearby many outlets of the most fashion brands of Made in Italy, such as Prada, Gucci, Fendi D&G.

Location & area

Borgo Santa Maria in Valle is on the left bank of the Arno river(18 km from Arezzo) near the ancient Sanctuary of Santa Maria in Valle, the origins of which date back to the late Middle Ages. A few kilometres from the house is the ancient hamlet of Laterina with its perfectly preserved town centre and ancient castle, the scene of fierce battles fought between the Municipality of Arezzo and the Florentine Republic. the farmhouse is located on the slopes of one of the many hills which make up the foothills of the high peaks of Pratomagno and which at this point gently descend towards Arno river. Shoppping is easy, 3 km from the houses there is the small village of Laterina, where you will find small nice foos shops, but if you prefer the supermarkets there is one in Levane, and a biggger one in Montevarchi, only 20 minutes away.There are also many open markets that take place on different week days.

The area is full of restaurants and small trattorias, where you will be able to taste many different dishes of tuscany cuisine.
