It has 3 beautiful double bedrooms, one of which with en-suite, and two bathrooms, one with a hydro-massage bath the other with a shower cabin, a lounge area and a fully equipped kitchen containing fridge and freezer, four ring stove, hob, oven, dishwasher and washing-machine, and a table around which 8 people can easily be seated.The dépendance, within a few yards reach from the main house, is a cosy smaller house suited for two people, with one double bedroom, a small bathroom with bathtub. It is an ideal way of accommodating friends or extra family members who need a little privacy.
The swimming-pool has a depth of minimum m 1.20 and 2,70 at its deepest point and, for your own security, there are life-jackets. The property overlooks the wide and open countryside and the surrounding gentle hills.

Location & area

Villa Luna is situated in the north-western part of the beautiful island of Sardinia, in a rural area at only 5km distance from the gorgeous historical town of Alghero. From the city walls, called ‘bastioni’, and the towers of the old Catalan town which seems to have risen right out of the sea, you have the most stunning view over the glittering emerald coloured sea beneath and on the rest of the coast of Alghero and surroundings, up till Capo Caccia with its Neptune Grottoes (always worth a visit!) on one side (north), and down to Capo Marargiu, not far from Bosa, on the other side (south). The old historical town of Alghero will delight and enchant you, be it with its delicious restaurants and pizzerias, with its sophisticated bars, wine-bars and cafés, or just with its cobbled old streets and characteristic harbour and the long and beautiful sea-shore promenade where you can stroll around while savouring a tasty local ice-cream. You will find a great variety of beaches in and near Alghero where pedalloes, jet-skis, surfing-boards and sailing-boats can be hired during the main season and that the local area offers all sorts of sporting activities such as sailing, wind surfing, snorkeling, deep sea diving and horse riding. The fashion victims will find a great choice of stylish boutiques in the town of Alghero, be it clothes, shoes or other, but also those more interested in local manufacture and products such as wine, cheese and traditional cakes will find a great variety of shops and markets to soothe their curiosity. Also are there a great number of historical and archaeological sites to be visited around Alghero, the Nuraghe Palmavera for instance or the Necropoli of Angheloruju which may give an interesting insight in the remote civilizations who once populated the area.
