Overview

Romantic apartment only 50metres from the sea. Ideally placed in Alghero's beautiful old town where you can sample its fantastic restaurants, cafe-bars and shops and stroll around its ancient sea walls and narrow, fascinating, cobbled streets. No car is needed. There is a wonderful fish and vegetable market within easy walking distance and a bakery around the corner, selling daily fresh bread and cakes. This 1st floor apartment has a newly fitted, very well equipped kitchen with an integrated fridge and a gas hob. It has its original terracotta floor tiles and original beams. There are 2 bedrooms in the alcoves which have curtains for some privacy. One has a double bed (with the option of making it into 2 singles) and the other has 2 single beds. The main room has a settee, an antique wardrobe, a table with seating for 4 and the kitchen at the other end. There is a 4 piece shower-room with a powerful shower, tastefully tiled in travertine

The nearest beach is a pleasant 15 minute walk away along a Promenade. Other beaches are easliy reached by using the excellent, cheap local buses or your own car.
