Overview
This newly built 3 bedroom home is conveniently located in a quiet area and is within 5 mins walking time of all the amenities of Ramelton village. The house is fully equipped to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday in one of Donegal's most historic villages. Close-by there is superb salmon fishing and one of Donegal's most renowned music pubs, The Bridge Bar, is just at the bottom of the hill.
Coylin Court is located in a quiet residential area close to the centre of Ramelton village, making it an ideal base for your family holiday in this historic part of north Donegal.
From the house it is a just 2 minute walk to shops, hair and spa beauty salon, pubs, wine-bars, shore-line, forest and town walks. Visit the weekly Country Market for fresh veg, home baking local handcrafted gifts. It's on every Friday morning at 11am in the town hall, beside the tennis courts (arrive early to get the freshest produce)
Down by the nineteenth century quays you can find the Donegal Ancestry Centre and Ramelton Story exhibition research your family name and find out if you have any Donegal roots. Ramelton is one of Ireland's Heritage towns. It's a charming town established in the 17th century and situated in the heart of Donegal. The town occupies a strategic position at the mouth of the river Lennon as it flows into Lough Swilly. It's mid-nineteenth century quays, largely unchanged to this day, were the location for the filming of 'The Hanging Gale", a drama recalling famine times in Ireland.
The Mirabeau Steak House offers excellent cuisine. The Bridge Bar Restaurant has a superb menu specialising in fish, advance booking recommended, especially at weekends. However, if it's morning after the night before and it's big breakfast kinda food you're after, the only place to go is Steve's Cafe - every town should have one! All are within walking distance.
Ramelton is also home to McDaids Bottling Stores, the award winning soft drinks manufactures. Sample their rather unusual Football Special, Banana and Pineapple flavoured drinks. Ramelton is also home to the legendary Swilly Rovers soccer team.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
