Overview

The Gardeners Lodge, part of an original Rectory built in 1819 in rural Tipperary, was sensitively restored leaving stone and brick exposed. Pine bedroom floors and ceilings enhance this historic holiday home.
The west facing conservatory captures evening sunshine and is an ideal place to unwind in the evening. The oil heating and open fire ensure cosiness at any time of year.
Boating on Lough Derg, hill and mountain walking in the Silvermines and Slieve Blooms, cycling or golfing on four courses nearby are some of the activities enjoyed by our visitors. Others like to drive, or go by bus or train to Dublin, Limerick or Galway for some retail therapy.
Many of the renowned tourist attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher, Burren,Connemara, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry can be enjoyed on a day trip.
A rest day spent locally can end in a local lakeside village or pub where one can savour a variety of foods, perhaps some Guinness and even try some irish dancing ! Visitors go home restored, refreshed and planning their next break to Courtyard Cottages
