Overview

While Nulty's Self Catering Holiday Cottages are located in the peace and quiet of rural Co. Kilkenny, we are still only a 7-minute drive from Ireland's medieval capital, Kilkenny.

Our farm was once part of the Jenkinstown estate until the early 1900's when it was sold to a local farmer.

Set in 70 acres of grassland, Nulty's is a place where you can plan your own holiday, a relaxing weekend getaway or an action packed activity led adventure break.

The Lodge : The spacious living and dining room complete with open fireplace is a firm favourite with large groups. There are 3 big bedrooms, the first is a double with ensuite, the second sleeps 3 and shares a family bathroom while the third bedroom comfortably sleeping 4 people.

Nulty`s Cottages is a 7 minute drive from the Medieval Capital of Kilkenny on the N78 yet only 5 minutes from Jenkinstown wood where you can feed the local deer. Dunmore Caves are also 5 minutes away, local shops,bars, restaurants, Kilkenny Castle are 7 minutes away. Fishing, horseriding, golf and our new leisure centre are also 10-15 minutes drive.

Amenities & services

The Lodge can accommodate 10 people very comfortably, and is ideal for large groups and families. The main bedroom has a king size bed, with one single bed, dressing table, bed side lockers, two chairs and a wardrobe, with an en-suite shower. The second bedroom sleeps 3 people very comfortably, with dressing table, wardrobe, bedside lockers and chair. The third bedroom sleeps 4 people very comfortably, with dressing table, wardrobe and bedside lockers. There is also a cot in this room if needed.



The large open plan living room with open fire place can seat 10-15 people on the beautiful leather sofas. There are patio doors which open onto the patio area and garden where there is a bbq available.



The dining/kitchen area is open plan with the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle etc., plus all your cooking essentials and crockery. Nulty`s is home from home!



We also have a beautiful river that goes through our farm where you can go for a leisurely stroll, watch out for our new lambs and foals in the adjoining fields.
