Overview
Killilagh House Guesthouse offers a high standard of accommodation in the centre of Doolin village within walking distance of all pubs & restaurants. All bedrooms are on ground level, are tastefully decorated and with en-suite facilities, TV, hair dryer and hospitality tray. Needless to say, the breakfast is wonderful and is sure to set you up for the day ahead. You're host Brid Shannon offers superb accommodation in welcoming surroundings. Doolin is famous for the live traditional music sessions which happen every night during the summer season and weekends in the winter. Doolin is the closest port to the Aran Islands, one of the last outposts of Gaelic civilisation, where Irish is still the spoken language. A passenger ferry service operates daily from Doolin Pier from April to October, with several crossings in high season. Just 4 miles from Doolin are the majestic Cliffs of Moher. They are over 700 ft. high. A new Visitor Centre is open all year. Doolin is on the fringe of the Burren, a remarkable limestone area which has a combination of many visual features that make it unique in Europe. Its geology, flora, caves, archaeology and history set it apart as a place of mystery and beauty - an explorers dream The Burren Display Centre in Kilfenora helps unravel many of the Burren's mystery.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
