Overview

Our self catering apartments are in the coach house of Kilbrogan House, a listed Georgian property built in 1818. Each apartment contains one double bedroom and both shower and bath facilities plus a kitchen/sitting room that overlooks the garden. The apartments are within walking distance of Bandon town centre, a thriving market town with an abundance of shops, restaurants and pubs.

The sitting room/kitchen is equipped with a colour tv and the kitchen equipment includes a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, hob and coffee maker. All heating and electricity plus towels and linen are included in the price and the beds are made up in advance of your arrival. The apartments share the garden with Kilbrogan House and guests are welcome to play croquet and lawn badminton in the summer months

Location & area

As you approach Bandon from Cork, turn right at the Methodist T junction and cross over the river. Bear left at the post office and take the first right turn up Kilbrogan Hill which is signposted Macroom. We are at the top of the hill on the right next to Chaplins and opposite Kays Flowers. The entrance is at the side of Kilbrogan House and parking is in the courtyard at the rear.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.

Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers.
