Very nice and newly studio apartment. The apartment is located about 4 km from down town Reykjavik, about 2 km from main swimming pool and about 1 km from the main park area in Laugardalur. It is located in a charming and quiet residential area. Good bus connections to down town. A taxi to go down town would cost about 10 EUR. About the apartment: It is located on the 1st floor (no stairs) with private entrance. It is about 28 m2 big. The living room area has a sofa and a table. The sleeping area has a double bed (140cm * 200cm). The kitchen is fully equipped. Floor heating which is controlled by the renter. It is possible for one person to sleep in an extra bed at an additional charge (free for children under 16) (needs to be requested at time of booking). Babycot can be added at no extra charge. There is a tiny grocery store only 1 min walk from the apartment open til 11 pm all nights. The owner lives in the main house. Prices are advertised in Euros. It is possible to pay in Icelandic kroners, but then with the rate of the day of arrival or booking (to be decided).
When making a booking you need to pay a deposit equal to the cost for one night. You will be billed through PayPal, and if you don't have a PayPal account it is easy to establish one.

Dishwasher detergent, dishwasher liquid, hand soap, and laundry detergent is available in the apartment at no additional cost.
The TV is 28" and shows the main Icelandic channel (RUV ), most movies and series are in English and Icelandic. The TV connects to a DVD player, and a good collection of movies and TV series will be available.
Free ADSL internet connection.
Weekly cleaning is available on request at an additional charge of €35 (includes change of sheets).
