Overview

Welcome to the Sea of Hungary. That's what the Hungarians call their lake. The Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe, is a holiday paradise with many attractive facets. Síofok is the summer capital of Hungary. Our holiday home is located in a very quiet area of Síofok, in a cul-de-sac, approx 800 meters from the bank of the lake and just over a mile from the center. The property was converted with much love into a child friendly holiday home for those seeking rest and relaxation. The 38 m² solar heated swimming pool with large terrace and the 8 m² solar heated paddling pool and the terraces, some of which are roofed, all offer a welcome cooling down area on hot summer days and guarantee a lot of fun for both young and old. Good places to eat, original wine cellars, stables and the brand new Galerius thermal spa centre area are all located near by. Síofok also offers visitors fantastic nightlife. Disco Palace and Coca Cola Beach are just two of the many nightspots on offer.

Location & area

Siofok is the biggest city by the Lake Balaton and it is located 17 km from the long southern shore. The Lake Balaton is the biggest lake in Middle Europe. The Coca-Cola beach is well known in entire Europe. There are, however, several free beaches. Siofok and the Lake Balaton are wonderful not only in the summer, but also in other seasons. In July 2006, the Galerius Wellness Center was inaugurated, on a 8000 m² property, with wonderful buildings, with approx. 600 m² water, spa, saunas, steam bath, massage, etc. The Center was built 2,5 km from our Richie I apartment complex, directly by the shore. If you cannot swim in the Lake Balaton because of the weather, you can still try this wonderful Wellness Center. Welcome in Siofok!

150 square meter holiday home for 8-12 people. This semi detached house consists of two air conditioned, elegantly furnished living spaces located adjacent to one another. Ground floor: Cosy living room, dining room, modern kitchen (enough kitchen utensils for the number of guests, gas oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave). Bedroom 1, Shower 1, separate toilet, terrace with garden furniture. There is a TV with both satellite and cable connections in the living room.

First floor, 3 family bedroom each with 2 + 1(2) bed(s), 1 bathroom with toilet, 1 shower with toilet and washing machine. 1 leisure room with additional bed and free broadband internet connection. The holiday home has its own terrace with 5 loungers and a large parasol beside the 9x4 meter solar heated swimming pool. A solar heated paddling pool, a playground (with swings, slides and sand pit) and 2 barbecue areas in the garden. 2-3 car parking spaces are in the yard beside the house.
