CaJa-Haza is a perfect blend of old and new, a cosy house that looks back on 120 years of history, providing you at the same time with all comforts of the 21. century. Maza is a calm, picturesque village in the Southwest of Hungary (province of Baranya) which is regarded as one of the most beautiful regions of Hungary.
From the CaJa-Haza the Mecsek mountain range is within 2-3 min. walking distance. Enjoy one of Europe's most original forests with majestic walnut, chestnut, and oak trees, wild creeks and vivid wildlife.
CaJa-Haza provides you with a luxury bed-& bathroom, own terrace, DVD/CD player, mini-fridge, daily cleaning, and half or full board (upon request). In the spacious garden, you can listen to the songbirds, watch the butterflies, or just relax at the pool.

Location & area

The village of Maza, directly at the foot of the Mecsek mountain range, in the Southwest of Hungary. South-Transdanubia is regarded as one of the most beautiful regions of Hungary. Maza looks back on more than 1,000 years of history and is located near many cultural & natural interests.

Through Maza runs a little creek, rising in the Mecsek mountains and making its way all through the village. An alley of beautiful, majestic walnut trees edges the creek's banks; and catches the eye of the beholder.
In the warm months of the year white storks nest in Maza and the surrounding villages.
There are three spa towns located within the surrounding area (each 15 to 40 minutes by car), with thermal spas.

The city of Pecs (35min. driving distance) is one of the most beautiful cities of Hungary. It offers a wide range of cultural events, and a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The city impresses its visitors with its Mediterranean flair, a beautiful pedestrian zone, and a unique mix of Baroque, Art Nouveau, and ancient architecture from the times when the Romans and Turks ruled.
