Overview
Make your stay a very personal one in true style by booking your holiday in an apartment in the world famous and extensively decorated Art Nouveau style Gutenberg-Otthon (Gutenberg-Home) building.
The Gutenberg-Otthon building is listed as a Cultural Heritage Building and is named after the inventor of modern printing Johann Gutenberg.
Built in 19O7 by the Hungarian Association of Printers and was renovated in 1944, 1970 and
most recently in 2001. Over the years this building has been the home of a number of prestigious persons including the famous Hungarian architect, Odon Lechner.
About the Apartment Heritage Budapest:
The apartment area comprises a 36 m2, bright, sunny, very cozy studio with a living room/bedroom area, a modern, fully equipped kitchen/diner and a large size bathroom with bathtub and window.
The apartment is located in the 8 district, on the 2nd floor and can be reached by either lift or stairs.
Apartment Heritage Budapest has been tastefully renovated and furnished in August 2007 and is a pleasure to the eye for art
lovers as it has been decorated with original paintings by a young and upcoming Hungarian artist.
Out of consideration to our guests, the apartment has been designated non-smoking, however there is the landing area for
smokers outside the front door with a view over the beautiful inner courtyard, full with plants on the lower roof garden.
The apartment is suitable for 2-4 persons, has a very comfortable double bed and a double sofa bed. Additionally, there is an upper level sleeping area suitable for a child.
All bedding is anti-allergy.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including microwave, electric toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine and all necessary pots, pans, cutlery and crockery etc.
A supply of coffee, tea, spices and cooking oil is also provided, as is an ironing board with iron, hair dryer and radio-alarm clock.
The apartment has cable TV, Wi-Fi high speed Internet connection and, if required, a mobile phone is available for use with an easily available pre-paid phone card.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
