Overview

The beautiful island of Skopelos, part of the Northern Sporades, is known as one of the greenest islands in the Aegean Sea and for its lush vegetation, pine forests,
flowers and olive groves. The island offers peace and seclusion, beautiful scenery and crystal-clear waters.
Villa Petaloutha, one of the most distinctive homes on the island, is a superb, spacious villa enjoying panoramic sea
and mountain views from its balconies and terraces. The villa is set in its own grounds with orchards, at the end of a
private drive, and offers complete peace and privacy.
The comfortable interior is furnished to accentuate the large space and bright sunlight. There is a well designed
open-plan kitchen and beautiful living/dining area, 3 bedrooms (2 double/twin, 1 en suite and 1 twin room),
good size bathroom, shower room and study room.
The villa is surrounded by private terraces giving a choice of sun or shade, and the views from the pool are simply stunning.
Villa Petaloutha is close to Glossa, a traditional Greek town with narrow cobbled streets and interesting shops and
restaurants.
There is much to explore on the island: coastal walks, remote monasteries, hidden churches, ancient monuments or you can just enjoy the quiet, secluded beaches.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
