Overview

The 'wow' factor of this villa is undoubtedly the stunning views and sunsets but that aside, this brand new three bedroom villa with private pool will not disappoint.Of course the views come with a price and that is that the villa is at the top of a steep hill overlooking Glossa and the walk up from the village would only be for the dedicated hiker. For this reason car hire is essential which we can arrange for you.

The village itself is very traditional with narrow cobblestone streets, white washed houses a selection of tavernas, a mini market, cafe bar, bakery and lots of steps - it really is the "Real Greece". Below Glossa is the small harbour and pebble beach of Loutraki which also has a number of tavernas and is only a five minute drive away.

The front facing French windows open onto a large terrace which faces a stunning 180 degree view of the white-washed houses of Glossa, which cascade down the hillside toward the quiet little port of Loutraki below. The fabulous views then continue to sweeping panoramas of the sea and the islands of Skiathos, Evia and the mainland beyond. An outdoor dining table sits in the prime location to face out toward these unparalleled views where certainly most meals will be taken al fresco.

The entrance to Villa Maria leads into a very large, open plan room that is tastefully, but simply furnished. A large dining table centers the room and an antique Skopeliti sofa with coffee table is near the television. A corner fireplace along with wood beamed ceiling and terra cotta coloured tiles, all lend a traditional atmosphere. The hand made Skopelitian curtains complete the look of a country villa. The views from the surrounding windows are fabulous of the pool and down to the sea below. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and there is a w/c shower room on this main level of the house. The washing machine is in the w/c shower room as well.

A stairway from the sitting room leads to the bedroom level of the house. There are three bedrooms upstairs, one with two single beds and two furnished with double beds. All of the bedrooms have spacious closets and balconies. The master bedroom is the only one with a corner balcony facing both the pretty town of Glossa and forward toward the sea. A large bathroom is situated in the hallway for the common use of all which has a Jacuzzi bathtub. From each balcony the views are even more beautiful than from the terrace below. A small table and chairs sit on the corner balcony where one can enjoy a morning coffee or spend the last moment of the evening watching the twinkling harbour lights below.
