Overview

Portaria is one of the picturesque villages of the legendary mountain Pilion , just 14 km from Volos , at an altitude of 650 meters, amongst huge trees and crystal clear water fountains , and a breathtaking view down to the city of Volos and the blue sea of Pagasitic Gulf.
Amongst the traditional and carefully kept buildings of the village, a stone cottage has just recently been refurbished and transformed into a lovely accommodation settlement offered as furnished country house for vacation rental.Located in the center of the village, just few minutes walk to the main square, a house of 70 sq meters in a big garden overlooking the mountain side, is equipped with all facilities for a comfortable stay.
The stone and the wood characteristics create a charming and romantic atmosphere where the tasteful furnishing, paintings and fabrics complete all together a first class accommodation.
In addition, our private parking for one car facilitates a hassle free stay.

Description of "Danae" house and facilities:
2 bedrooms with double bed each
1 bathroom with a big shower space, amenities and hair dryer. Hot water at all times.
1 living room with open plan kitchen , sitting area and dinning area plus a fireplace.
Kitchen equipment: Cooking stove, drip coffee machine, espresso machine, toaster, water boiler, refrigerator, all tableware equipment.
Entertainment equipment: TV set, DVD player, hi-fi cd-radio player, internet ISDN connection at request.
Heating: Central heating in all rooms and bathroom.
Air conditioning: The mountain breeze, as well as the stone walls that maintain a standard temperature, create a pleasant atmosphere where there is no need to cool the house with air-conditioning.
A big covered veranda in front of the house is the ideal spot to enjoy the summer afternoon and sunset hour. A convenient marble table with four chairs is completing the veranda facility.
Laundry: At your request we can pick up any clothes to be laundered and/or ironed. Delivery is usually the next day.
House cleaning and linen change is upon request at extra cost.
If you do not wish to have this service by a housekeeper, we will give you fresh linen to change your beds and towels as per your need.
