Pitsaki Villa in the Argolida, Greece...close to Mycenae, Nafplion, Tiryntha and Nemea, in the heart of the Peloponnese. Comfortable, relaxed, charming and with a touch of luxury. Spacious accommodation and living areas designed and decorated with an artistic eye. The high wooden roof adds majesty, a great feeling of space and a pleasant coolness to the hottest summer days although it also air-conditioned throughout. The Pitsaki Family have made their home available as a holiday rental for the last few years after having shown their famous Greek hospitality to many friends. The close proximity of the house to Mycenae and Nafplion makes it a magnet to tourists searching for a little bit of traditional Greece with 'mod cons' combined with a splendid cultural experience and an ideal base from which to visit the many places of interest in the Peloponnese.

The house is available all year round and depending on bookings can be rented as a bed and breakfast type holiday or as an exclusive booking for large families or groups wanting the place to themselves.

On entering the house one feels at home immediately and soaks up the charm and tradition. The kitchen and sitting room are found on the ground floor along with three double bedrooms and bathroom. The main sitting area has steps leading up to the games room.

The lounge is situated on the first floor and has panoramic views of the Palamidi castle and the beautiful town of Nafplion and from the huge verandah the Ancient Castle of Larissa in Argos over the tops of the orange groves.

The swimming pool is outdoor and the trees lend their shade to the hot sun of the summer months.

Activities in the Peloponnese area are too many to mention here but we have tried to give an idea of some of the most popular. Try wine-tasting in Nemea or see a play at the Epidavros Theatre..


Archaeological sites in the Peloponnese are wide and varied and are all within a days trip either by car or organised tour from Pitsaki House. In particular Mycenae is just 10 minutes away, the famous theatre of Epidavros around 40 mins, Olympia, home of the Olympic Games is around a 3 hr journey and Athens just 1.5 hrs



Walking, rock climbing and hiking are activities that many people visit the Argolida to do taking advantage of the beautiful scenery and countryside, the routes are numerous.


The beaches in Greece are famous worldwide and the sea around the Argolida crystal clear and warm. Visit the beaches of Tolo, Karathona (Nafplion), Plaka, Vivari, Candia (Kondili) and Iria ideal for swimming and sunbathing and all safe for children.


There are a number of organised watersports companies in the area offering waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, ringo & banana rides and scuba diving, please ask us for information.

Pitsaki House is a traditional family house offering accommodation in a "home from home" atmosphere with a touch of luxury. Each of the bedrooms have their own individual character and the games room also doubles as a bedroom.

One bedroom, making use of the high ceiling, has had a mezzanine floor built in with 3 mattresses and a three-quarter bed making an ideal room for a family with children and has a door that leads directly out into the orchard and the plunge pool. Another of the bedrooms has a four hundred year old bed (don’t worry, the mattress is new!) and a balcony looking out over the tops of the orange trees. The third has a period chrome bed and from here you can pick oranges whilst sitting on your private balcony. In total 2 double rooms, 1 triple room, one family room and the games room with double sofa bed and 2 easy chair-beds comfortably sleep up to 16 persons.
