Overview

The houses are located in a private estate of 11,000sqm, perched on a hillside overlooking the Gulf of Aetos, near Vathy, Ithaca. The estate is full of olive trees and orchards; there is also a vineyard. The visitors can rest or walk under the natural shade of trees, pick up and taste fruits, participate in the traditional vine-harvest (if they happen to be there end of August) or the olive-harvest (end of September).
The houses are situated on a peaceful location near the archeological site the Cave of Nymphs, where Odysseus is supposed to have hidden his treasures when he returned to Ithaca. They are only 5 minutes away from the port and the main town of Vathy (where there are shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, bank, post office etc.) and 2 minutes from the nearest beach, Dexa (by car).
Nearby, there are also country churges, archeological museums and walking tracks.
