Location & area

Facing the Ionian Sea, Arillas sits at the bottom of a valley with a backdrop of hills,
snuggly nestled in between the headlands of Agios Stephanos to the north and
Agios Georgios to the south. Arillas beach for the past 10 years has been awarded
the coveted 'Blue Flag' by the European Community for its cleanness and for water quality.

Villa Linakis offers the best of both worlds. It sits snuggly amongst the Olive groves yet is only a 15 minute stroll from the beach and all the facilities of Arillas. Spectacular panoramic views to be enjoyed from the many terraces. This is the perfect place in which to relax and soak up the atmosphere of 'real Greece'.

Amenities & services

One might think that Villa Linakis was built upside down, as the bedrooms are downstairs whilst the living area is above. In fact, it is a very practical way of doing things. Warm air rises, and mid-summer in Corfu can be very hot. This way around guests can enjoy the cooler rooms when sleeping, and delight in the views from the fabulous raised vantage point of the upper level.


The whole property is finished to a very high standard and enhanced by both elegant and traditional furnishings. Villa Linakis has been thoughtfully equipped - not only with the basic essentials, but with plenty of useful extras that just might come in handy.


With central heating for the winter months and air-conditioning to cool you on those balmy summer days, Villa Linakis is the perfect holiday retreat at any time of year.

Ground floor:

Entering the villa through the front door a spacious tiled hallway greets you. Leading off it are three large bedrooms. The focal point in each are the traditional Greek iron beds, which have been lovingly restored - although you can be assured that the mattresses are new, firm and very comfortable!

The master bedroom has a double bed and benefits from a large en suite shower room. A mini-safe is also located in this room. The two other bedrooms are twins and share a copious family bathroom; this is also accessed from the hallway.

All three bedrooms have:

*Patio doors leading out to their own furnished balcony/sitting area.
*Air conditioning and central heating.
*Radio and CD player.
*Hairdryers.
*Safes.

Bedroom storage:

Tucked away discretely beyond the walk in wardrobe in bedroom three is a small utility room where a washing machine can be found.

Upstairs:

Make your way up the attractive curved staircase in the hallway to the open-plan living area upstairs. Here you will find kitchen, dining and lounge areas, and a large covered veranda. This floor also has central heating throughout.

To find such a well presented kitchen in a holiday accommodation must be a chef'sdream. Compact and welllaid out, has plenty of workspace and is superbly equipped with:

*Full sized oven and hob.
*Microwave.
*Separate fridge and freezer.
*Dishwasher.
*A wide selection of utensils, pans and other cooking equipment.
*Plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware, including unbreakable items for outside use.



Next to the kitchen is the dining area. This is furnished with an attractive wrought iron, glass topped formal dining table and matching wrought iron chairs, seating six comfortably.

To the front of the kitchen and dining area is the lounge. A pair of sumptuous leather sofas flank a gorgeous oval marble topped coffee table that is most certainly a fitting centrepiece to this area. Also in the lounge are:

At the far end of the lounge French windows lead out onto a large, shaded veranda enjoying spectacular views out over the countryside and down into the village of Arillas. This area was designed specifically so that guests could truly make the most of the amazing sunsets that are often described as some of the most beautiful in the world. Furnished with ample solid wood seating and occasional tables this area is also ideal for al fresco meals or simply enjoying a glass of chilled wine and the company of friends.
