This is your property ?
Overview
This area (also known as Aghios Stefanos and is not to be confused with the resort of same name on the West Coast) was once a sleepy fishing village and has since become quite a secluded and prestigious resort favoured by many of the rich and famous. This is due to the fact that although it can be reached by road it is more accessible by boat.
There is a small beach to the left of the harbour where you will find parasols and sunbeds available for hire or you can walk to the next bay of Kerassia which is only accessible via road from San Stephanos or else by boat or on foot. Here again you will find sunbeds available and a single family run taverna.
The cottage has 1 twin bedroom, a small living area with sofabed and satellite television, a small galley kitchen with full oven, kettle, fridge, toaster etc. dining table with 2 chairs and a separate shower room.
Outside the property to the front you will find a small covered verandah with seating and to the rear there is a pretty stone flagged courtyard / terrace area with corner seating and table, barbeque and sun loungers. A peaceful place for you to sit reading a book soaking up the last of the sun after retreating from a lazy day on the beach or parking the boat!
'This property will appeal to visitors looking for peace and tranquillity, a cosy hideaway within the heart of this upmarket village retaining its old village charm a short walk from superb tavernas and beach, in an idyllic setting with stunning scenery'

Location & area
San Stephanos can be found winding down the hillside from the NE coast road, nestling between Kalami and Kassiopi (also known as Aghios Stefanos and is not to be confused with the resort of same name on the West Coast). This area was once a sleepy fishing village and retains its relaxed feel though it has since become a quite secluded and prestigious resort favoured by many of the rich and famous. This is due to the fact that although it can be reached by road it is more accessible by boat.
It is another small resort well suited to those seeking a relaxing tranquil holiday and for couples seeking a romantic atmosphere with truly stunning scenery. An ideal place to unwind though you can explore the surrounding bays on foot or by boat if you feel like a little more exertion!!! Obviously those who also love sailing and walking will find this resort a small paradise in itself.
A chic but small low key villa resort with a pretty harbour area where you will find 2 sophisticated cocktail bars, 2 supermarkets, 4 waterside tavernas, a lovely gift shop, a tourist office and boat hire office.
There is a small beach to the left of the harbour where you will find parasols and sunbeds available for hire or you can walk to the next bay of Kerassia which is only accessible via road from San Stephanos or else by boat or on foot. Here again you will find sunbeds available and a single family run taverna and excellent swimming.
Avlaki beach is also nearby with its watersports, 2 tavernas and dinghy sailing school, an ideal visit being just a short drive/walk away between San Stephanos and Kassiopi. This is also the location of Dimitris Horseriding Stables and rides can be booked in advance upon request transport is provided.
Kassiopi again once a sleepy fishing village has blossomed into a still small yet bustling resort with a strong emphasis on both families and couples. It is a nice place to visit for those seeking to do some shopping or to have a change of scene. Here you will find a pretty harbour from which boat trips and excursions can be taken surrounded by waterside cafes. There is a wide range of shops around the village square including 2 larger supermarkets than you will find in the smaller resorts and also a chemist, butcher, bakery and laundry etc.
There are many varied restaurants including Italian, Mexican, Chinese and of course excellent Greek tavernas to cater for every taste some of which are so good even the locals have to book in advance for a table. (We would strongly recommend 'Little Italy' food as the name suggests and 'Yiannis' is also superb serving exquisite Greek food alfresco by the sea.(you can arrange for a birthday or celebration cake upon request). There are several bars and a couple of clubs available late evening should anyone feel the need for a little more life, taxis are of course available from the square which can often be shared. The resort is certainly lively in the evening but not by any means rowdy. It has the perfect balance for those seeking a little more entertainment but whom are definitely not interested in finding an abundance of night clubs and loud music.
Aside from the shops and nightlife there are 3 beaches to be found with excellent watersports available including windsurfing and a dive centre.
Corfu town is a wonderful place to visit having plenty to see and do with its Italianate arcades, Venetian fortress and cobbled alleys. It boasts everything from international boutiques to traditional craft and jewellery shops that line the streets and stay open late into the evening. Aside from shopping you can watch an afternoon of cricket sipping coffee from below the arches of the Liston Arcade or stroll around the square and admire the medieval churches and forts. You will find many excellent and varying restaurants and sophisticated cafes and bars to add to the experience.
