Overview

Villa Artemis is a spacious well cared for villa, in a quiet safe area of Artemida resort on the Marathon coast, near Athens

The fully equipped modern kitchen, lounge and dining room on the first floor are in open plan style with a large open fireplace. There is an extra wc and a store-room. Balconies lead out from the entrance, kitchen and dining room. On the second floor you'll find two bedrooms, one with bunk beds and one with two single beds and a full bathroom and a store-room. Both bedrooms have balconies. Exterior marble steps lead up to the roof terrace from where the view of the Aegean Ocean and the mountains of Evia is terrific.The ground floor of the villa has another kitchen, lounge full bathroom and three bedrooms, one with two single beds, one with a double futon and one with a single bed plus another roll away bed. We can supply a baby cot.The garden is completely fenced in and provides secure parking within the grounds. You'll find a barbecue and ample garden furniture. This is a quiet area with very little traffic, ideal for children to play.

The villa has airconditioning and central heating throughout and unlimited hot water. Ideal for vacations all year round. Ask to see our website for more information and photos.

Location & area

Artemida is an excellent place to stay for all year round vacations with many spectacular world famous places to visit, lots of beaches, islands and things to see and do. And of course - sunshine!

Villa Artemis is situated in a wonderful area near Athens called Artemida just 10 minutes walk from sandy beaches. Surfing (there is a surf club here famous among Athenians) and swimming are excellent.´Shops, restaurants, cafes, boutiques and parks are all within 10 to 30 minutes walk. There is a small harbour for private boats where you too could safely leave your boat. Public transport is 5 minutes walk from the villa.

The port of Rafina is 5 km away so the Greek Islands are within easy reach. Day trips with Seajet are offered to Mykonos, Andros, Tinos and Evia.


Athens is rich in history. See the Acroplis and visit the museums. Look for bargains in the traditional markets or wander through the elegant boutiques. Enjoy a meal in a traditional greek taverne or grab a snack in a fast food cafe or bistro. Browse round the ever changing exhibitons or relax in one of Athens green and peaceful parks. Watch the changing of the guards in their national dress at Parliament Square. Athens has something for everybody all year round.


Visit Corinth, Cape Sounion, Marathon, Delphi, Mycene, Epidavros and many more places of interest.


Villa Artemis is 35 minutes from Athens airport and easy to reach with either taxi, hire car, or public transport. We can also provide airport transport to make your journey easier.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers.
