Amenities & services

The Athens Heritage House apartment is on the first floor of a Neo- classical 3 story building that has undergone a total gut renovation and partial rebuild. It is absolutely beautiful.

With two bedrooms, both with custom made iron beds - one bedroom has a Queen and the other two twins, and a sleeper sofa in the living room, this immaculately restored home is an ideal short term rental steps from the Plaka. The bedrooms look out onto the very quiet side street lined with orange trees. The street connects into the pedestrian zone that meanders its way into Plaka, Monasteraki, past the Ancient Agora, around the Acropolis and up Phillopapou Hill. The kitchen and living room are designed with an open floor plan, which is terrific because it opens on to the house's courtyard, which is secluded from the street and surround on all sides by the building. Filled with flowers and plants, it is a lovely place to enjoy a cup of coffee as you plan your day's activities or sip an ouzo or frappe in the late afternoon.

The kitchen has a cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator, along with plenty of dishes and cookware. There is also a full size washer and dryer (no need to spend your holiday hanging clothes out to dry!). There is one full bath and one half bath, and a beautiful "bath" room with an original (restored) clawfoot tub.

The apartment also has complimentary high speed internet.

This home is designed to offer guests a true home away from home, familiar and comfortable with the same amenities they have at home.
It is part of an exclusive collection of luxury Athens villas, penthouses and historical homes that offer 5 star luxuries in a self- catering short term vacation rental. As owner/managers, we are sharing our home with guests and thus we still find we are among the only 2 and 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartments in downtown Athens and we may be the only apartment in the Athens area in general to offer a full size washer and clothes dryer, free high speed internet, computer and printer on request, cribs and luxury bed and bath linens.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
