Location & area
The town of Antiparos "Kastro" is 5 minutes walk. You can find almost all your basics there - tavernas, shops, pharmacy, bank, etc.
There are 5 or more beaches to choose from within a 10-15 minutes walk from the town. Some of them are very shallow and warm - perfect for small children. The apartment's "local" is Sunset Beach, 5 minutes stroll to your left. This is a great place to spend your afternoon topped off with sunset view as the name suggests - this amazing view, by the way, is also yours from the apartment terrace, daily!
Rent yourself a car or motorbike to explore around the island's coast line south towards the fishing village of Agios Georgios, the uninhabited island of Despotiko and further up the west coast.
30-40 minutes by car should cover most of the island - 20 minutes take you to the famous stalactite cave too!

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
