Overview
Located in Munich's Isarvorstadt (Schlachthofviertel), this lovely hideaway is perfect for a stay in this beautiful city. Well appointed with free wireless internet (WiFi), linens, towels, bedding, well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, refridgerator, DVD player, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer, you need bring only your toothbrush and clothes.
Lovingly rennovated in August of 2006, we had both holiday and business travelers in mind. You are a short walk to the city's center of Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt and you are only three blocks from the Oktoberfest fairgrounds! The bus 152 will take you from your doorstep to Sendlinger Tor, Viktualienmarkt and finally to the Ostbahnhof (quick connections to the airport).
During the Oktoberfest the rate is 200 Euros per night. Book early as the apartment is just that close to the festival.

Location & area
How would you like to stay in what the Munich newspapers call the "filet" of Munich's neighborhoods. The Schlachthofviertel (Meat Packing District) is known for its music, restaurants, bars, and unique shopping. Stroll along the Isar River and stop off for a good beer at our favorite beer garden, The Flaucher Biergarten. Stroll down to the Viktualienmarkt (old city market) and pick up some fresh ingredients for a fantastic homemade meal you fix for yourself. Or try Makassar around the corner. The owner/chef, Roger, was the chef aboard Cousteau's "Calypso" for years.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
