Overview

Your apartment is situated in a new building (2001) with a special architectural ambiance. The attractively composed front with large windows, an imposing entrance and a stylish staircase welcome you to your temporary home in Berlin's City.
All our apartments have 2 separate rooms and offer beds for 4 persons - a comfortable camp bed for a 5th person is available. We can also provide you with a travel crib.

The apartments are spacious and practical, with dark wood stained parquet flooring in the entire living and sleeping area.

Almost all apartments are extensively same equipped, furnished and hafve the same size.
Some have a large balcony, with one (1st floor) having a terrace to enjoy the summer evenings outside.

In this area parking outside in font of the house is 10,00 Euro a day charged by city administration. Ca. 500m away in another area you can find parking free of charge, but we offer a better and safe place for the same price than outside at cost price.
If you come to Berlin by car, your car is of course best parked below the building, where you stay.

Info for handicapped people: The building provides has a large elevator, more than wheelchair wide. The apartments itself and all entrances are barrier free and wheelchair friendly. By all means assistance by a second person is necessary. Please ask for details.

Location & area

Only the comedown of the German Democratic Republic and the fall of the Berlin Wall made this location possible to recolonize and allowed to build this, in architectural respects outstanding apartmentbuilding in the former death zone downtown Berlin (south of 'Unter den Linden' ). The well known Berlin Architects Nalbach & Nalbach designed modern central living with spacious rooms in a modern ambiance.



The surrounding is shaped by buildings of famous temporary architects. Across the street you'll find the known 'Rossi-Block' (Aldo Rossi), in the surrounding Prof. Josef Kleihues, Peter Eisenman, Phillip Johnson, Daniel Libeskind, Sauerbruch & Hutton and many others influenced the urban development - the one who loves modern architecture or who only wants to live in a luxury style, is perfectly served at this place.



At daytime the small street buzzes with people from the close-by offices and tourists from all over the world. Elegant shops in
the vicinity do full justice to Berlin-Mitte, one of our capital's smartest areas. Parallel to Charlottenstrasse runs Friedrichstrasse with all its dazzling array of luxury shops and department stores (e.g. the famous Lafayette).



At nighttime this central living area is calm, quite and safe (because of the surrounding closed offices) - perfect for restful sleep after a busy, action-packed day.
