Overview

Beautifully restored 18th century Breton stone cottages surrounded by trees sitting in secluded grounds. Quality accommodation with traditional features, together with a large, shared-use, in-ground swimming pool, children's play area, 9-acre setting and welcoming hosts on-site make us the ideal place for a rural gite holiday from which to explore Southern Brittany and it's Loire borders.

The gites are approached via a separate, gated entrance lined with fruit trees, leading to the private parking area. The enclosed gardens with grand old oak trees, giving a parkland feel, are surrounded by gently rolling countryside offering peace and quiet - why not barbecue on your terrace, picnic in the meadow or relax by our in-ground swimming pool.

Our area is called the 'door to Brittany' due to it's border position with the regions of the Loire Valley, renowned for it's chateaux and wine vineyards, easily explorable and only a short drive away.

LE LIERRE, a 2 bedroom gite (sleeping max. 6) has been carefully restored and retains original chestnut joists and floorboards and "cheminee" - or mantled fireplace, into which is installed a wood-burning stove for winter and autumn comfort.



The ground floor comprises a fully fitted kitchen and dining room, and a separate living room, with sofa bed for additional sleeping accommodation. On the first floor, which retains character features, exposed timbers and chimney breast in the bedrooms, comprises a double bedroom and a twin-bedded room; plus a spacious shower room with WC.




Our gites are situated amongst mature oak trees, and 2 acres of gardens with french doors opening onto private sheltered terraces with BBQs and with front aspect overlooking established gardens. You will be surrounded by green tranquillity, foliage and nature with an abundance of bird life at very close hand.

Selection of indoor games and books



Fully fitted kitchen in Oak, including oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and all those other kitchen needs.



Heated towel rail in the shower room.



Childrens equipment, e.g. high chair; cot and stairgate (on request).



Pillows, duvets and bed linen (optional) are provided for each bedroom. Please bring your own towels with you.



Private terrace with patio table, chairs, parasol and BBQ.

Childrens Play Area with swings and slides etc. suitable for children aged between 3 and 12.

Fully accessible 7-acre field for kite flying, ball games nature strolls, peace and quiet or letting the children loose on!
