Overview

Château de Marotte was built in 1870 and is set amongst 12 acres of its own parkland and includes 2 acres of woods and a 1 acre fishing lake stocked with Carp, Roach and Trout.

The house is just on the edge of the beautiful village of Saint Saud Lacoussiere where you will find a variety of Cafes, Restaurants and the local Boulangerie and Charcuterie along with a General Store and Pharmacist. Saint Saud is also where you will find the ‘Hostellerie St Jaques' - one of the top Restaurants in South West France!

To ensure your comfort, we provide high quality, luxurious linen, toiletries and bathrobes. Fresh fruit and bottled mineral water is supplied upon your arrival.

We offer a host of activities including fishing, golf, motoring, cycling, walking, horse riding and of course relaxing!

The area is full of fascinating market towns where you can choose a different market virtually every day of the week. Interesting Château and a wide range of cultural activities are nearby whilst the larger centres of Perigueux, Limoges and Angouleme are all within one hours drive.
