Overview
The gite, with three bedrooms, accommodates up to 6 people. The windows at the front of the house look out over the valley, as does the stone-paved terrace. The high Allier valley is ideal for nature lovers, hikers, ramblers, bird-watchers (the hill behind the gite is a special protection zone), anglers and anyone just looking for peace and relaxation. The river, 200 yards from the gite, offers good swimming and kayaking. There is a beach just down below the village. The area is rich in places to visit, including castles, a historic mine (underground visits), windmills (old), a wind farm (new), churches with medieval paintings, a maze, and small towns with all the character of this unspoiled region of France.
