Overview

Ideal for those who look for peace and seclusion on holiday: renovated farmhouse with 3 cottages (2 x 150 and 1 x 240 sqm) - also ideal for groups. Surrounded by 40 ha of fields and forests and with view to Pyrenees. Close to two large lakes (swimming, sailing, surfing) and close to all interesting historic sites like Carcassone, Mirepoix or the Cathar castles.
Possibility of horse riding (with guide).
The houses have all very large living rooms, well-equipped kitchens and each bedroom with bathroom en suite. Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
Very quiet but yet close to village with all amenities.
You can make magnificent walks here and enjoy the unspoilt nature or explore the surroundings on a mountain-bike. You can hire one of the horses and go for a ride in the hillside, with or without the guide. You can make use of the swimming pool or go to the nearby Lake Montbel or Lake the Puivert, where you can surf, sail or hire a pedalo. In Chalabre, only a 10 minutes drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a bank and restaurants.
The famous "Cite" of Carcassonne is only half an hour driving, as is: Mirepoix, Cathar castles, Limoux. Also close: Toulouse, Narbonne, Perpignan and even Barcelona!
