Overview

La Croix Joreau is a small complex of three apartments, two cottages and a house set round a large courtyard. On the edge of the village we are a two minute stroll to the shops and bar/tabac/restaurant. In the one and a half acres of grounds is the owners swimming pool which you are welcome to use and there is a large area of grass ideal for ball games. In the courtyard there are petanque balls should you wish to play otherwise it is a perfect area to relax.



The Willow House is a three bedroomed house set in the courtyard at La Croix Joreau. There is one bedroom with a double bed and two other bedrooms both with two single beds. There is a well equiped kitchen and dining area and a comfortable spcious sitting room.

Location & area

Parcay les Pins is about twenty minutes drive north of Saumur and 45 minutes from both Tours and Angers, which means we are in an ideal spot to visit many of the major attractions in the Loire Valley like Villandry and its beautiful gardens, the chateau at Usse which is said to be the 'Sleeping Beauty' castle, more chateaux at Langeais, Chinon, Azay-le-Rideau, Saumur and Angers to name but a few. Parcay is situated in a lovely forest area with many quiet roads and tracks for walking and cycling and nearby are two lakes for fishing and other watersports.



The Loire Valley is a large wine producer and we can help you explore the many reds, whites and roses in the region.
