Overview
Le Poulet forms part of La Poulerie, That was at one time, as the name implies a chicken farm. The English owners live opposite in the old barn, and are there to help you enjoy your stay.
La Poulerie is located just outside the picturesque village of Parçay les Pins, which has a bar that serves light snacks, a local store, selling all the necessaries, a boulangerie and a boucherie.
The property comprises:- two upstairs bedrooms, one twin and one doublewith superb views ove the surrounding apple orchards and pine forests, and shower room.
On the ground floor you will find a large 6x6m living room with kitchen area, dining table and chairs and a lounge area, with sofa's arm chair and coffee table, there is also Satelite TV, Hifi, DVD and VCR, plus a small video library and selection of books.
Outside there is a covered patio area and shared garden(shared with its sister cottage Le Poussin). Guests have access to the owners private 11x5M swimming pool and patio area.

Le Poulet, is located in a small hamlet called La Poulerie, which in the dim distant past was at one time a chicken farm, sa the name implies. The nearest village is Parçay les pins, which is situated about 17 miles north of Saumur, and is equidistant between Angers in the west and Tours in the east.
It is an Ideal base to visit the many Chateaux of the Loire and Vienne, along with the superb wines of this tranquil region of France.
