Because it is situated at the end of a small settlement of 4 other houses with friendly neighbours ( who only speak French but love to meet visitors) , there is total privacy and tranquillity. It provides a true rural French way of life and is unspoilt by tourism, there are empty roads, brilliant night skies, abundance of wild life, inexpensive excellent village restaurants and wonderful local produce markets.
The immediate area offers a diversity of activities for all age groups,walking, cycling, fishing, golf,horse riding,canoeing and climbing.

A short car ride will take you to the famous Puy du Fou, the fantastic natural zoo in Doue la Fontaine, Troglodyte villages, Loire valley and Saumur. A little further La Rochelle and the coast.
