Overview
La Cachette sleeps up to 5 adults in 2 large comfortable double rooms (one with additional single bed). Guests can relax with a glass of wine on our sunny terrace and take in the lovely view. There is also a terraced garden with sunloungers. Our generous breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beamed lounge.
Our rooms are named after 2 of the local chateaux, both are large with seating. There is a hairdryer in each room.
Montfort: Large double with valley view and a large private shower room.
Fenelon: Large double (with additional single) and an ensuite shower room.
Wifi available. Sorry but we cannot accommodate children.

La Cachette is close to medieval Sarlat and Domme and a short drive to the picturesque riverside villages of La Roque Gageac and Beynac. Rocamadour is only an hour away. All the beautiful sights this region has to offer are all within easy reach. The river Dordogne winds its way past the village of Grolejac which offers within walking distance, 2 restaurants and a bar, baker, butcher, supermarket, an excellent cycle path (we have 2 bikes for hire), a large lake with sandy beach, canoe hire on the river, tennis court.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers.
