Overview
Idyllic location for 3 bed house with fenced pool and outdoor solar shower, nestling in beautiful, secluded countryside with only the views of woods and fields around you. 10 mins Villebois Lavalette, town with supermarket, banks, restaurants and weekly market etc. You'll feel totally at home here and be able to let the stresses fall away.
Modern south facing house, tiled throughout on one level. Spacious lounge with open fireplace with 4 double patio doors opening on to garden, giving a lovely sense of space and light. TV Video/ DVD /satelite. Modern kitchen D/W W/M M/W all mod cons. Games room with full size table tennis table, darts, etc board games. 1 dbl bed ensuite, 2 twin, extra beds poss. 2 baths.
Private large terrace with barbecue for al fresco dining, with covered shady area. Situated in quiet countryside and although we have 7 acres in total, we have fenced off an acre around the house so families with children can feel at ease and safe.

Close to the Dordogne/ Charente Border in Southern charente, the house is ideally located in total privacy yet close to Villebois for all amentities. About 1.5 miles from Poitiers, Limoges and la Rochelle airport. About 20 km from historic town of Angouleme and 1 hour from Bordeaux.

Amenities & services
We are only 2 km from the 12th C village of Ronsenac with its own caf' in the square with a view of the square with the old 12th Century church and priory. At the end of the village, tennis courts can be hired (from the Mairie). There is a great adventure playground for children, with sand and climbing area. The locals come and play boules here in the summer evenings.
The tourist office in Villebois-Lavalette (about 5 km away with large supermarket) offers all sorts of information on the area, as well as sports activities for people to get involved in. These include horse riding, guided walks, VTT (mountain biking), hand-gliding, rock-climbing, swimming, tennis. There is always a multitude of cultural activities around in the summer months, and these are well advertised in the various villages, newspapers and at the tourist office.
