Overview
Le Domaine aux Quat'Saisons is located in the Languedoc in the South of France and is a maison de mâitre dating back to 1882 when it was the summer residence of the Martinel family. Since 1995, it has been tastefully refurbished to offer discerning guests accommodation in a refined and elegant atmosphere combining old world charm with modern comforts. All bedrooms are ensuite, spacious and individually designed. The house and rooms are magnificent and in addition to their bedrooms, guests may use the guest salon, terrace and Le Domaine's 2 acre landscaped garden, vineyard and sun-drenched swimming pool complex. The Languedoc is a beautiful region of France relatively unspoilt by tourism with a sun-drenched climate. In addition to the UNESCO world heritage sites of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi there are many other cultural attractions within easy access. To name a few, we are in the heart of 'Cathar country' with its many medieval remains, the Mediterranean cost and beaches are only a 40 minute drive away, the medieval market town of Mirepoix lies in easy reach, and the Pyrenees and Catalan Spain are both within a 90 minute drive.Access to Le Domaine is good: by air it is only 20 minutes from Carcassonne airport with its regular flights to Dublin, Stansted, Charleroi, East Midlands and Liverpool and 75 minutes by motorway from Toulouse, Montpellier and Perpignan airports, by car it is 20 minutes to the A61 motorway, by rail there are TGV services to Paris from Beziers. We also offer excellent cuisine from produce sourced locally and quality wine from the Minervois. Our food is seasonal and fresh wherever possible and reflects the flavours and dishes of the South of France. We never use factory farmed or inferior ingredients.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
