Enjoy the charms of rural central Brittany in our beautiful 16th century Manoir house quietly situated in attractive countryside close to the famous towns of Mur De Bretagne and Pontivy. Completely renovated to a high standard to provide comfortable and spacious holiday accommodation for up to 8 people, we hope you will find all you need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Within our extensive property (over two-thirds of an acre) lay a peaceful garden, exclusively lawned and tree-lined with garden furniture and barbecue set aside for our visitors. A 24 foot solar heated and decked private pool catches the sun all day long. There is also plenty of off road parking space.

Surrounded by fields and trees the area is ideal for cycling, walking or exploring. The nearby lake, Lac de Guerledan, is where you can relax with a picnic or soak up the sun on glorious sandy beaches. Alternatively, you can take a scenic lake cruise and enjoy the magnificent views. For those who are more energetic you can indulge in various water sports such as swimming, windsurfing or water skiing - or maybe hire a boat, canoe, kayak or pedalo.

Charming, sleepy villages are not hard to find, all offering a little something special, from local markets and fine cuisine, to well known tourist attractions. Local restaurants offer varied menus to suit all palates.

Also within easy driving distance are three very different Brittany coasts; west Brittany coast for surfing, north Brittany coast for rock pools and south Brittany coast for their celebrated sandy beaches. There are castles, châteaux, architecture and history - whatever you enjoy doing or seeing you can find it within easy reach of this area.

Whatever you decide a holiday means, whether it's doing as little as possible, relaxing and unwinding, or an action packed adventure fitting in every possible tourist site, Central Brittany will not disappoint. Add to this the beautiful sunshine which covers the region during the summer months and you have the perfect recipe for a memorable holiday.

Reves Doux is in central Brittany about an hour and a half from the cheap-flight airports of Dinard and Brest. It is also about the same distance from the ferry ports of Roscoff and St Malo - Caen being about three hours.

Amenities & services

The bedrooms are composed of two double and two twins - all en-suite, with the addition of a decent bath in one of them. Cooking and dining facilities include: A range-style cooker, large dining table comfortably seating 8 people, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, etc. Also included in the price is satellite TV (including UK stations) and a DVD player. There are four adult cycles for hire too.



You won't need to bring any pillows or bed linen, as they are all included in the price. Also included is the central heating (just in case), hot water, clean towels and plenty of beautiful countryside in which to relax (actually, that bit is free!). There is also plenty of off-road parking too, which means you can be totally self-contained and close the gates on the outside world. We also provide a babysitting service so that the adults get some time to themselves too!
