In the little hamlet of Quelneuc where typical french everyday country life continues around you, you will find this
charming Breton stone farm cottage.
With exposed stone, beams and traditional fireplace features to the interior, this cottage has spacious accommodation - even thogh it was once a cowshed!.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen/diningroom, large double bedroom with cathedral ceiling and additional single bed, a sitting room with half size ping-pong table and french doors opening onto the rear garden and finally the bathroom. Up the open pine stairs is a twin bedroom.
The front lawn includes patio area, barbecue and parking strip, the rear garden is nicely shaded with mature trees and has a second more private patio.

Situated in a hamlet of about 20 houses near the shore of the Lac au Duc. this means aquatic activities such as swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, waterskiing are minutes away. There is also a water slide and splash pool for kids, free tennis courts and a 9 hole golf course on the shores of the lake. Cycle and walking trails surround the lake and also lead you to the Nantes/Brest Canal, from here you could cycle to the picturesque town of Josselin with its imposing chateau. The nearest town to the cottage (less than 10minute drive)is Ploermel with an excellent selection of shops, supermarkets, places to dine, historic buildings and a great weekly market. Within cycling distance is the village of Taupont which has a friendly bar and first class bakery for morning croissants and patisserie to die for!
40 minutes drive will get you to the coast, the impresive town of Vannes and just a little father afield the standing stones of Carnac, many other ancient and mediaeval sites suround you in the peaceful Morbihan countryside, the roads are a pleasure to meander along.
