Overview

Zen is located on the 2nd floor of a totally refurbished building. There is a lift, and security fob entry.
The living area is open plan with a fold away table and backless stools for quick meals together. Plenty of entertainment is provided with a flat screen TV, DVD player, ipod/radio player which can be enjoyed from the comfort of a brown leather sofa for two and the apartment is fully air-conditioned.

Two and ½ long windows maximize light from a north wall and privacy is ensured by Japanese paper shades that slide in and out of the way.

The living area is open plan to a small but efficient kitchen with complementary brown units fitted into the south wall and a separate WC is found off the living area.

This is a charming but compact air-conditioned studio in the sun just two blocks from the beach. The white paintwork and high ceiling plus complementary modern decor in browns and light wood tones is repeated throughout this bijoux studio and helps increase the feeling of room and space.
The bedroom is located in the loft area and is decorated in golden brown and beech wood tones. The double bed has bedside tables with table lamps. An air-conditioning unit ensures maximum comfort. Beautiful Japanese ‘paper’ screens slide to uncover a closet and storage space. Although the bedroom area is relatively small, a large glass wall and bleached wood floors help create a feeling of light and space. A modern ensuite bathroom leads off the bedroom and is fitted with a glass wash basin and shower cubicle. The shower is not suitable for tall guests, please see bathroom notes below.
The kitchen is small and efficient with a 2 ring ceramic hob, microwave and fridge but no oven. Just enough to put together a basic meal should you wish to self-cater. A whirlpool washing machine is found here, along with basic amenities such as toaster, electric kettle and french press.

There is a separate WC on the main floor and an ensuite shower room upstairs in loft area. The shower room is very modern with a glass bowl sitting-on-the-counter wash basin, large mirror and spot lighting. There is a small cabinet for personal items and shower cubicle with a maximum height of 1.8 meters/ 5ft 11in. For a comfortable shower we do not recommend anyone taller than 1.7 meter / 5ft 7in to book this apartment.

Location & area

The Zen studio apartment is located in the centre of Nice in the very desirable area known as the Carre d'Or. It is very close to the beach - a short walk just two blocks or streets will bring you onto the Promenade des Anglais right by the famous Negresco Hotel.



Guests will find many high quality shops, wine bars, and excellent restaurants on their doorstep and just one street away is Rue de France and the beginning of the Massena pedestrian zone with all the nightlife, restaurants and shopping associated with that area.



Nice's Old Town and Cours Saleya daily market is a 15 minute stroll away. The local bus route is close by and the airport express bus is located on the Promenade. The main bus station and train station are about a 15 minute walk away and the Port and Castle Hill will take about 20 minutes by foot.
