Overview

Villa Mimosa occupies two floors in the gated residence, Residence Parc de la Clua, Avenue de la Clua. The grounds are laid with tiles, a wood patio and include a heated, lighted pool for winter and evening swims.
The open plan living area with rich dark woods and dark leather sofas comfortably seat up to six people and extra large sliding windows allow both light to the room and maximum enjoyment of the landscape view of Nice’s hills. A further two floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views and access to the heated swimming pool and terrace area. A downstairs WC/changing room, laundry room and kitchen are located just off the main living room. All the rooms are decorated and furnished with a simple but effective colour palette of whites and contrasting dark brown plus a few accents of colour which creates a seamless flow and feeling of space throughout this modern villa.
The master bedroom is decorated in mauves and pinks and guests will be pleased to find unlimited hanging and drawer space for all their belongings. A king-sized top quality bed adds maximum comfort factor to the fresh and contemporary feel of this bedroom. From the windows, you can enjoy a breath-taking eagle's-eye view of Nice’s mountains.

Bedroom 2 has an en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower and WC. Guests will also enjoy superior views, large closets, drawer space and a king sized luxury bed.

Bedroom 3 has two single sized beds and has the added bonus of a private terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or afternoon drinks in this shady hideaway with an incredible view of the surrounding hills. A walk-in closet for this bedroom is located in the hallway.

Villa Mimosa has a fully functional kitchen with direct access to pool and terrace. The kitchen is fitted with high quality appliances including Bosch oven and microwave, a Whirlpool full sized family fridge with large freezer and automatic ice cube maker, ceramic 4 ring hob and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils, crockery and glassware necessary to rustle up anything from a snack on the terrace to a full blown dinner party for six.

A handy WC with wash basin is located downstairs just off the living area and is perfect for quick and easy access and changing close to the swimming pool.

The main family bathroom is spacious, fully-tiled in white and chocolate-brown tiles and comprises a walk-in shower, separate bath and wash basin with large mirror over and a towel rail. The WC is divided from the main bathroom area by a glass-tiled half wall.
There is a steep hill to the back and it is recommended that young children are supervised very carefully as this area is NOT gated to date.

French pool safety regulations require certain children safety features. This villa includes an electric ‘shutter’ cover which must be closed and locked at all times when the pool is not in immediate use - for your children as well as other neighbourhood children who may wander about.

There is a second floor terrace which is excellent for children, shaded with a high wall.

This villa enjoys state of the art security system if you choose to use it. This includes an alarm system, lock safe for valuables (ask for more details), private gated community with code entry and combo electric shutters with wooden doors for secure lock up.

This secure and peaceful domaine is located up a steep hill overlooking the city and surrounding hills of Nice.



It is a 15 minute drive into the centre of Nice or drive down 5 minutes to the tramway (take advantage of a 1-day park & ride tram ticket) and glide peacefully to the city centre in 10 minutes or the beach in 15 minutes.



Since the villa is located up 3 hairpin turns, it is suggested you hire a car. There are plenty of grocery shops and local dining just at the bottom of the hill but the location is not convenient enough to walk back hauling groceries in hand. There are no pavements or sidewalks in this area, only streets going up to the Villa. However, some of our guests have managed without the use of a car.



There are no city centre parking problems by Villa Mimosa; you will find parking directly in front of the villa for two cars and just a few metres away, additional shared parking for the domaine.
