Overview

This is an unusual apartment in that the owner lives there for part of the year and only lets it out in the other months. The apartment was attractively refurbished a few years ago and is comfortable and stylish. It is on the top floor and has the advantage of a beautiful roof terrace overlooking town. The terrace is equipped with table and chairs to enjoy 'al fresco' meals. There are sun-loungers for relaxing in the sunshine. The master bedroom has a double bed and good storage space. There are double doors from the master bedroom onto another sunny balcony. The second bedroom has a sofa which converts into a double bed and is only available in the summer period.(Mid June to end september). There is a good walk in shower room. The kitchen is compact but is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, oven and good size fridge. There is also a washing machine in the apartment. The living room is attractively furnished with a settee, armchair dining table and chairs, TV radio, cd player. The apartment is on the 6th floor with lift and there is even a security door!

During the period December, January, February and one week in May (Monte Carlo Rally) only 1 bedroom for 2 people will be available. There is a possibility to put an extra air mattress for a 3rd person into the living room if needed.

Location & area

The flat is equal distant from the main railway station and the sea.
The apartment is in the district called 'Musiciens', between rue Verdi and Rue Rossini. From here it takes only 10 minutes walk to the ocean (Promenade des Anglais) and to the railway station on Avenue Thiers. Around the corner and close to the apartment there is a good selection of shops, supermarkets, wonderful bakeries and two indoor markets. Nearby there is also the pretty park of Alsace-Lorraine.



There are two good restaurants which are both less than 5 minutes walk: Occitanie where the the set meals are under 20 euros and for those who enjoy exotic food, the Barachois offering specialties from the island La Reunion.

For movie lovers we recommend the Rialto cinema, under 10 minutes walk from the apartment, where you can watch films in English.

The rent includes a light clean at the end of your stay. Should extra cleaning be necessary, 40 Euros will be withheld from your security deposit. If there is no damage, the deposit will be refunded after departure.

Non refundable deposit when booking of 250 Euros. Final payment plus returnable security deposit of 250 Euros payable six weeks prior to arrival.

Arrivals 4PM, and vacation by 10AM. Saturday to Saturday rentals.
The apartment can be rented in the winter from December 15 to February 24 with lower rates except for the Christmas/New Year's period. Please ask us! Electricity ( new: aircondition available!)is only charged if usage is above 2 euros per day or 14 Euros per week
