Overview
Set in the heart of the Nice's picturesque Old Town, Rue de la Prefecture is a bustling little street containing restaurants, shops, and bars. This really is the central hub of the old town and from here the Promenade and beach is only 2 minutes walk away, the bus station 5 minutes walk and around the corner the breathtaking Place de Justice, a wonderful square with an ornate fountain set outside the halls of justice surrounded by fantastic Nicoise restaurants.
The Port area with its fabulous restaurants and antiques quarter is a 10 minute walk along the picturesque Promenade and central Nice is 10 minutes away and is not to be missed for its architecture and, of course, shopping!
Stylish double bedroom. Two fitted wardrobes provide plenty of storage space whilst a small window faces out into a narrow atrium. The chandelier adds a contemporary feel.
The kitchen has a 4 ring hob and electric oven, plus a full size standing fridge freezer. The white gloss units compliment the oak work surfaces and there is also a 2 seater oak breakfast bar on which to enjoy warm croissants in the morning. The kitchen is also equipped with a toaster, kettle, and cafetiere. The dining area boasts a 6 seater glass dining table under three ornate chandeliers which hang from a ceiling revealing the original oak wood beams.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
