Overview
The villa is the first sea fronted private house on the whole of the Bay of Nice and easily accessible to all the beauties of the Cote d'Azur. Originally build in the 18th Century it has been remodelled many times, most recently in 2001 by Jean-Marie Roig, a well known local painter. A large air-conditioned Lounge/Dining room for up to 8 people with panoramic views of the whole of the bay(immortalised by Raoul Dufy), private Bar and fully equipped kitchen. On the garden patio you can eat out in the sun or in the shade. All Sky TV+movies (no PPV). Full DVD, surround Video and Sound centre. The 3 bedrooms downstairs have individually controlled air conditioning. The master bedroom is en suite with WC, large sunken bath and large separate shower. Access through the French windows leads to a small lower garden. The other two bedrooms have their own shower and wash basin. And, an unique feature, a very large Steam Room (Hammam).The Promonade/Beach is just across the road - 10 metres away, with private and public bathing areas. Castel Plage Restaurant on the beach provides all day sun beds, umbrellas, and waiter service. Summer Bookings are on a weekly basis starting Saturday. Variations are possible during Off Season/Winter months. Ask for details.

From the patio there is a fantastic view of the whole Bay of Nice as far as the Airport (7km). Behind the house, outside the hall door, is the Tour Bellanda the most famous landmark in Nice. Culturally, Nice is renowned for its many very old Churches, 20 Museums, a world renowned Opera House, many theatres, hundreds of fine art shops and of course eating! There are over 3,000 restaurants in the Nice area and you can eat in a different one every day for a year all within walking distance of the villa. Every type and at every price - even a Michelin star across the road from the Villa!

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
