Overview

Maison Dix is home to John and Erica (and their two gentle dogs Bear and Pudsey), who fell in love with the house and Neffies at first sight, taking time to restore it and offer quality bed and breakfast accommodation and facilities for our guests. The building is a maison de vigneron' or winegrower's home. It's full of character with high ceilings, tall french windows with shutters and intricate ironwork, terracotta tiled floors, original beams and exposed stone walls. In homage to the building's past, we've named each room after the grape varietals grown locally and once pressed on the ground floor. Outside, you'll find a peaceful walled-garden, a sparkling, chlorine-free swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers - so relax with a chilled glass of rosé and that book you've been meaning to finish. In two minutes, you can stroll to 'L'Escampette' village bar or take a table at the renowned restaurant 'Les Goutailles'. Closer to home, use the shaded summer kitchen to prepare your own gourmet lunch. Our four large, well-appointed guest bedrooms each have spacious shower rooms, queen-size beds and antique furniture. You'll find Egyptian cotton towels in your en-suite and we provide pool towels for you to take down to the garden. We also have a one-bedroomed suite for those seeking a little more independence. It's decorated and furnished to the same luxury standard as the guest rooms and includes an open-plan living area with well-equipped kitchen. There's a queen-size bed in the bedroom, a shower room and separate w.c. Maison Dix is perfectly placed, just outside Pezenas, to discover this wonderful region of France. We know you'll love it as much as we do.
