Overview

Set in a private courtyard beside a small brook, Chez Lingarole has been careful restored, retaining many original features including: exposed beams, stone walls and fire place. Our property includes a large field, vegetable garden and has direct access to woodland at the rear of the property. All of our rooms are large and spacious and have been comfortably furnished in keeping with the style of the house. Our private courtyard is a natural sun-trap where you are welcome to sit, relax and enjoy the tranquility. We can help you discover the dramatic and spectacular mountain ranges of the Pyrenees, from walking in areas of true wildnerness, landscape and wildlife photography, cycling famous cols, sampling French culture at local markets or unwinding in rural cafés. We offer an oasis of calm to relax and unwind whilst discovering the magnificence and diversity of the Pyrenees.

Location & area

We are located in a rural valley in the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains with immediate access to walking and mountain bike trails. Great access to the cities of Toulouse, Pau and Lourdes. We are nearby to the ski and spa town of Luchon, in the heart of the Pyrenees. Local shops are 5km from us and there are several restaurants within a few kilometers of us.

All of our ingredients are fresh, purchased to order and sourced locally – we avoid purchasing ‘Air Mile’ produce. We serve our own home grown produce wherever possible, together with fresh eggs from our free-range hens. Our large fruit and vegetable garden is maintained using biodynamic and organic methods.
