Overview
Welcome to Les Chataignes, our beautiful, three-bedroomed stone-built longere (cottage), in the Morbihan department of Brittany.
Ideally situated to enjoy all that Brittany has to offer.
The accommodation, which has been newly and sympathetically renovated, comprises:
Three spacious bedrooms - 1 with king size bed, 1 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds. All bed linen is provided, and a travel cot is available if required.
Bathroom with sink, bath, shower and wc.
Downstairs there is a very large living room with feature wood burning stove - lovely and cosy for out of season breaks. Three piece suite and TV/DVD/CD player. An assortment of games, books and DVDs is available for your entertainment.
Fully equipped, fitted kitchen, with utility room off, and a wc off the utility room.
Outside, the large garden provides plenty of seating, table and chairs and barbecue. Chestnut and apple trees at the rear of the cottage provide cooling shelter in the heat of the day. What better way to relax in the evening than with a glass or two of lovely french wine whilst preparing your barbecue meal?
The garden is next to a small wood, and is very tranquil. Gravelled parking is provided at the top of the driveway.
The cottage is situated on a quiet lane, and at the end of a long driveway, so is perfect for children.

Merdrignac is very close to the cottage, and is a super town with all the amenities you could wish for, yet only minutes away.
There are supermarkets on the outskirts, and in the town centre, restaurants, a creperie, two fabulous bakers - perfect for your daily fresh baguette, and assorted other boutiques and shops.
The town has tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool (during the summer months) with a water slide, lakes and parks surrounding them, a pitch and putt golf area, and also a childrens play area.
